SUMMARY:Decidedly Egalitarian 5 Week Cohort
DESCRIPTION:While this has long been ECO’s theological conviction\, we haven’t always known how to live that out practically. Join us for a five-session cohort experience designed to help ECO leaders push through barriers to build mixed-gender ministry partnerships that are both personally satisfying and missionally effective. Sessions will include discussion based on the book by the cohort facilitator\, Rob Dixon\, titled Together in Ministry: Women and Men in Flourishing Partnerships. This cohort is co-facilitated by Kelsey Schuett (InterVarsity). \n\nHow can women and men work alongside one another in healthy ministry partnerships?\nWhat blind spots might you\, your church\, and your staff have regarding gender issues?\nHow can we encourage emerging and existing women leaders?\nHow can men become allies for women in ministry?\nHow can we create safe spaces for men and women to honestly wrestle with what it means to be “better together”?\nWhat are some practical tools and small shifts we can make in our staff or at our church to witness what it looks like to be decidedly egalitarian?\n\nCome join us as we more effectively align our theology with our practice in pursuit of greater missional transformation both as individuals and committees! Virtual Meeting Dates (Wednesdays from 10am-12pm PT): April 17th\, May 1st\, May 15th\, May 22nd\, and June 5th. Cost per person: $30 All are invited! Sessions\, staffs\, pastors\, teams\, and volunteers that are made up of both men and women are invited to come and learn together how men and women can work better together for the sake of each other and the sake of the Kingdom!
