This certification is a 10-month process undertaken with a non-geographical cohort, a facilitator, homework assignments and a mentor from your local church. CLP1s are lay leaders who are serving their church by leading micro-expressions of church (small groups, youth groups, missional communities, etc.) and who wish to have a deeper level of training in the 10 Leadership Competencies.
CLP 2
This course is a two to three year process which involves all of the training described for officers and CLP1s plus 12 additional seminary level classes, offered through the Flourish Institute of Theology. CLP2s are lay leaders who are serving as pastors. This CLP2 certification is meant to equip a lay leader who feels called to pastoral ministry with the basic skills needed to pastor a church and ability to administer the sacraments.
